The following are pages, torn from a novel or journal

"I... Saw it today, for the first time. A flame so cruelly beautiful that it memorized me. My jaw was wide, with awe and amazement, as I wondered to myself. 'How could such a thing possibly exist in this world?' I thought."

A small picture of the ancient symbol for fire lays here. Image

The pen strokes of basic black ink with red blood continue

"A flame natural to this world is yellow, red or orange. Even the brightest flame may only peak to blue. The flame was otherworldly- a hint of yellow with blue... combining into a dancing green flame. Fel flames... Father would kill me if he knew I was practicing such arts. Not that it is exactly 'forbidden'. Father always wanted me to marry that woman and when she and I fled, splitting up so we would not be found, we broke the vow to wed. Now I further myself away from his favor. I have not trained with a blade or shield for months, instead I've grown my mind. Now the very first hint of that growth has shown, and I can't wait to discover more."
